Paul Merson has predicted that Tottenham will win their game against Brighton on Wednesday.
A slump in form recently has seen Spurs fall 18 points adrift of runaway League leaders Manchester City.
However they returned to winning ways during the weekend as they recorded a convincing 5-1 victory against Stoke and will be looking to secure another three points during their match against Brighton.
Spurs will face off against Manchester City during the weekend and it is essential that they play well against Brighton in order to go into the game against Pep Guardiola’s men with confidence.
Merson has now predicted that Spurs will convincingly win the game by saying, “Tottenham looked really good the other day, they played some really good football. Brighton were absolutely awful at Huddersfield.
“This could be a huge score if Brighton play anything like they did at the weekend. This is a big race for the top four for Tottenham, and you don’t want to be that team that misses out on the top four.”
