Tottenham star Dele Alli has admitted that he is a fan of Bayern Munich.
According to Bild, he said: “You just have to look at the story. Bayern will always be one of the strongest teams in the world. They bring so much quality to the field, have incredible players. It would not be my wish to play against them in the next round.
“I talked a bit about the Bundesliga with Leroy Sané and Kevin Wimmer, and saw German clubs in the Champions League.
“At FIFA on the console, I also play with Bayern. The Bundesliga will always remain a competitor, even if it is currently not doing so well internationally. But for me, the Premier League is the best league in the world. I would like to prove myself further.”
The 21 year old Alli is regarded as one of World football’s most exciting young up and coming talents and has reportedly caught the attention of many of the elite clubs of world football.
Bayern have also tended to spend on bringing in younger players to their squad during recent times such as James Rodriguez, Corentin Tolisso, Kingsley Coman and Javi Martinez.
Spurs currently look to be out of the Premier League title race already and could also face a difficult task to qualify for next seasons Champions League.
Though they have a talented squad, Alli could be tempted to leave the club if they continue to under achieve.
