Watford have stated that they will not entertain offers for Richarlison, who has attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham.
Since joining the Hornets for £11.5 million from Brazilian outfit Fluminense during the summer transfer window, Richarlison has proven to be a revelation and has so far scored five goals for his side.
As a result of the progress which the player has made, Watford will surely receive nothing less than double what they paid for the player should they sell.
The youngster has quickly adapted to the demands of Premier League football and is showing signs that he could go on and become a future star.
Watford chief executive Scott Duxbury has however insisted that the club will not be entertaining offers for the Brazilian.
“We want Richarlison to be here for many more seasons,” he told the Evening Standard.”We are building a very competitive squad, we have no need to sell.
“We believe in the season being a race and that’s why we will never sell a player in January who we believe will help us. Nobody will be sold that we don’t want to. None of the players making an impact now will go.”
