Aston Villa midfielder Josh Onomah has admitted that he sees his future at parent club Tottenham.
Onomah joined Villa on a season long-loan during the summer in order to gain more experience at first team level.
The 20-year-old has so far been in impressive form for the Championship high-flyers and has scored three goals from 18 matches in all competitions.
Villa boss Steve Bruce has admitted that he will be willing to break the bank if given an opportunity to sign the youngster on a permanent basis. It however does look like the player sees his future at Spurs.
“Obviously I want to do well here and help Villa get promoted, then go back to my parent club and get back in the team,” Onomah said.
“There is a lot of competition but that is football for you. You have to take it on board. Promotion is the aim now at Villa.
“We believed from the start of the season with the players we had, the staff we had. We believed we could get promoted. We are just taking every game as it comes and hopefully come May we are where we want to be.”
