Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Argentine defender German Pezzella, who is currently playing for Fiorentina, according to reports from Tutto Mercato Web.
Pezzella has been in good form for Italian side Fiorentina so far this season and this good form seem to have caught the attention of Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham are looking to further strengthen their defense and the signing of Pezzella would prove to be an exciting addition to the extremely talented Spurs side.
However, it is not only Spurs who are interested in the 26-year-old as Atletico Madrid are believed to be keen on the defender as well.
Nevertheless Spurs have the advantage over Atletico in their pursuit of the defender as they currently have Eric Lamela in their ranks, who was Pezella’s teammate during their time together at River Plate and the attacker could use his influence to lure his compatriot to Wembley.
