Tottenham have suffered as blow after star defender Jan Vertonghen reportedly suffered an injury while training with the Belgium national team which could render him unavailable for their clash against Arsenal after the international break.
In addition to Vertonghen, Spurs are also likely to be without Toby Alderweireld. This could mean that they may have to hand a debut to the inexperienced Argentine Juan Foyth.
While Foyth is highly rated and could be a potential star of the future, he is not an ideal option, considering his lack of experience at the highest level.
Since joining the North London club during the summer, Foyth has only featured sparingly. He was handed opportunities in the EFL Cup during which he managed to impress.
If he is used against the Gunners, Foyth will need to make the most of his opportunity and will aim to prove that he can compete against the big-guns of English football.
