England national team boss Gareth Southgate has dismissed talk of their being a row taking place between the England national team and Tottenham.
Three of Tottenham’s key players, Harry Winks, Harry Kane and Dele Alli are set to miss the Three Lions friendly international against Germany on Friday and this has caused some to speculate that this comes as a result of there being a row between the two parties.
Meanwhile Southgate is expected to use the match against the reigning World Cup Champions to test his fringe players with the likes of Jordan Pickford and Ruben Loftus-Cheek set to make their debuts.
When asked if the players who will miss the game are genuinely injured, Southgate replied saying: “Yeah, absolutely. Harry Kane – I knew he was in trouble because he stayed down – Harry Kane doesn’t stay down.”
