Tottenham Hotspur target Cenk Tosun of Besiktas is happy that he missed out on a move to Crystal Palace during the summer.
“About my transfer to Crystal Palace, I can say that I’m very happy the move failed,” he said in quotes carried by the Croydon Advertiser.
“Because I get to stay at the club and I am doing very well at the moment in both the league and the Champions League.”
The Turkish striker was reportedly a target of Palace during the summer, who are currently languishing at the bottom of the Premier League standings.
The 26 year old has carried on showing good form this season for his club and has so far scored 10 goals from 15 appearances in all competitions.
Considering that Palace are struggling in front of goal, many fans of the club would have certainly been hoping to see him being signed during the January transfer window.
