Pochettino speaks up about potentially leaving Tottenham

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he is committed to his role as manager of Spurs this season while admitting that he is not thinking about what he will be doing next season.

After joining Spurs from Southampton three years ago, Pochettino has developed a reputation as being one of the world’s best managers and has transformed Spurs from a modest team to one that can genuinely challenge for major trophies.

The Argentinian has been instrumental in the development of stars such as Harry Kane, Harry Winks and Dele Alli.  His performances as a manager have led to him being linked with the managerial posts at PSG and Real Madrid should Unai Emery and Zinedine Zidane end up parting ways with their clubs.

Pochettino revealed that he is committed to Spurs for now and is not considering where he might be next season. He said: “I don’t want to lie. Always, I want to be honest and I say: ‘I don’t think about tomorrow. I don’t think about next season.

“Because it doesn’t depend only on me, it depends on many circumstances. And it’s so important to be respectful and prudent, cautious and intelligent.

“Today, Tottenham is in my head 100%. Today, I do not change Tottenham for another position in the world because I am so involved.”
