Dele Alli is demanding improved wages of around £160,000-per-week at Tottenham Hotspur, which will make him the highest player at the club – according to the Sun.
Alli signed a new contract at Tottenham worth around £50,000-a-week only 12 months ago and he still has four more years remaining in his current deal.
However, recent reports suggest that the England international is not happy with his current terms at Tottenham and he reportedly wants an improved deal of around £160,000-per-week, which will see him become the best paid player at the club.
The current top earners at Spurs are Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris, who are arguably the best players for Spurs, and it is yet to be seen if Alli deserves the money he is asking for.
Spurs will surely not be looking to give an improved new deal for a player so soon after tying him up to a contract less than a year ago.
Considering the amount of interest for Alli from clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona though, Spurs might be forced into handing the youngster a new deal once again to keep him happy.
