According to Sky Sports Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham have submitted a stunning £25million bid for Leicester wideman Demarai Gray, with the north London club hoping to make the England youth international an 11th hour summer signing.
Gray wants out of Leicester City having spent a majority of his little playing time coming off the bench since arriving from Birmingham City in January 2016.
The 21-year-old is valued £30million by the Foxes, and it’s believed Spurs might secure a very late move for him in the coming hours.
The north Londoners have strengthened at the back only thus far, but are very much keen on Gray, who scored 3 goals and helped grateful teammates to 6 others in 43 appearances across all competitions last term.
The speedster is a great and very promising attacking talent, and he sure can fulfill his potential under the tutelage and guiding arms of manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Gray’s direct style of play means he can provide a lot of quality off the bench for Spurs, and succeed where the likes of Mousa Sissoko and Georges-Kévin Nkoudou have flattered to deceive.
The excellent dribbler is a goal threat through his long distance efforts, and it appears Tottenham are keen to leave a deal for him late having expressed interests in him earlier in the summer transfer window.
