According to reports, Crystal Palace are in the running to sign Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.
After joining the North London club from AZ Alkmaar last summer, Janssen has proven to be less than successful as he only managed six goals from 39 matches in all competitions last season.
He was confined to coming off the bench last season and may have a similar role this season should he remain at the club. Therefore, the striker may find the prospect of playing more regularly for another club appealing.
Palace are in need of new players, particularly in attack. Thus far, the Eagles have been struggling in the League having lost all their games and failed to find the back of the net and there is a strong chance that they will attempt to sign players before the end of the transfer window.
They are also without Connor Wickham, who is injured, which highlights their need to bring in new strikers to the club.
