Aston Villa captain John Terry visited his former Chelsea team-mates at the club’s Cobham training ground.
The 36-year-old Terry bade farewell to the Blues at the end of last season, 19 years after making his debut for the club.
Terry has since joined Villa on a one year deal and was left out of the team that faced off against Colchester in the EFL Cup on Wednesday. He used the opportunity to visit his former team-mates.
Considering the nearly two decades of professional experience which Terry has under his belt, there is no doubt that his visit and potential advice would have been well-received by Antonio Conte’s men.
Chelsea winger Pedro took to social media site Twitter to post a picture of himself with Terry and wrote, ” Nice to see you again crack!!! @johnterry.26 !!Legend!!”
It remains to be seen if the Blues will manage to successfully defend their English Premiership crown this season without their former captain.
