As per the Daily Mirror, Tottenham are ready to revive their interest in the services of Lazio forward and Senegal international Keita Balde Diao, after reports emerged of Marseille’s interest in making a swoop for striking flop Vincent Janssen.
Spurs are keen to offload the £18million 23-year-old Netherlands international and Lazio have shown interest.
Though they prefer a loan deal for the frontman, Tottenham would only be interested in a permanent move.
A deal could still be struck between the two sides with Balde no longer interested in remaining at Lazio.
The 22-year-old has a year left on his deal, and has so far refused to sign an extension amidst suggestions of him being open to a Premier League move.
In 35 games across 2016-17, the Juventus-target registered 16 strikes, with 8 of those coming in his final six games of the campaign.
The £22.6million-rated forward is able to play across the frontline, and his technical abilities and pace make him excel as a lone striker too.
Keita bagged an incredible 10 goals in seven games in that position alone, and it’s safe to say he’d make a great addition to Spurs attack if a move is completed for him.
