According to reports, Sunderland defender Oscar Krusnell is wanted by Swedish club Hammarby.
After joining the Black Cats from AIK Solna in 2015, Krusnell has failed to establish himself within the side and has not made a first team appearance.
A transfer may be the best thing possible at this stage for the 18-year-old Swedish youth international. As he has two years left on his current contract at the Stadium of Light, this will also be a good time for Sunderland to cash in on a sale and free up space within their squad.
The Black Cats also have extra cash to spend on bringing in new recruits after they sold Jeremain Lens to Besiktas.
Simon Grayson’s side are looking to recruit new proven strikers and have been linked with moves for Ross McCormack from Aston Villa and Preston North End’s Jordan Hugill.
Grayson has worked with both players during his managerial stints with Leeds and Preston respectively.
