New Aston Villa signing expresses his excitement following transfer

Josh Onomah has revealed that he is looking forward to his loan spell this season with Aston Villa. Onomah is highly rated at Spurs and was recently awarded a new four year contract at the club.

Mauricio Pochettino has also been very hesitant to send the player on loan out of a fear of having him managed by so called “lesser” managers but has now finally decided to send him out to Villa.

Onomah, who was part of the England under 20 side that won the World Cup in South Korea this summer, said following his move to the Villains, “There’s great history here at the club and big legends have put on the shirt.

“It will be good to call Villa Park my home and I can’t wait to get a bond together with the fans. I can’t wait to get started. It will be good.”

The 20-year-old Onomah made 12 senior appearances for the North London club last season and will have to use this opportunity to gain more experience and prove to the Spurs hierarchy that he has what it takes to succeed for the first team.
