As per Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham are set to miss out on the services of Caen striker Yann Karamoh, as the 19-year-old favours a switch to Inter Milan amidst the plenty EPL links.
Currently rated £9million by the Ligue 1 minnows, the French-Ivorian centre-forward impressed last term after he broke into the senior team setup, scoring five goals and four assists in 35 league games to ensure Caen narrowly missed out on the drop.
Karamoh’s overall performances subsequently caught the attention of Spurs and Arsenal amongst others.
However, it’s Inter that was able to convince the ‘next Kylian Mbappe’ into agreeing a switch despite only willing to pay just half of his asking price.
The France under-20 international registered 11 goals in 28 games for Caen’s second-string side upper season, and is highly-rated as they come.
Karamoh’s dynamism; an asset that makes him able to play efficiently well across the frontline and pace makes him a tough nut for opposition defences to crack.
From the look of things, he would be a fine addition to a Spurs side struggling to get Harry Kane a decent backup out-and-out striker.
Boss Mauricio Pochettino is yet to add depth to his squad since the transfer window opened, and it remains to be seen if anyone will actually be arriving before it closes.
Come what may, Yann Karamoh won’t be one, though. All things being equal, the youngster is bound to lineup for Inter next term
