Tottenham reportedly handed boost in hopes of signing EPL-winning winger

Sky Sports News claims that Leicester City attacker Demarai Gray has discussed his future with the club as regards a summer exit.

Hence, the possibility of the England youth international becoming available on the transfer market has alerted Tottenham.

Despite his enormous talents, the 21-year-old is a fringe player at the King Power Stadium, and he wants out in order to get to play more regularly elsewhere.

Could Tottenham, being a hotbed for grooming and giving chances to young and exciting talents like Gray be his next stop?

The former Birmingham winger is contracted to the Foxes until the summer of 2020, and should cost a decent transfer fee if his request to leave were to be granted.

Spurs are being rivalled by Borussia Dortmund and Everton for the services of Gray, but they have an upper hand given the reputation of Argentine manager Maurichio Pochettino with youngsters.

With Mousa Sissoko’s future at the north London club still uncertain, Demarai Gray could be a spot-on replacement.

Like the Frenchman, he also boasts of a pace that causes Premier League defences problems, and if well-groomed, he can definitely go on to conquer the topflight with the world at his feet.
