Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has once again expressed his belief that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is under the least pressure of all of his sides Premier League title contenders during the upcoming season.
Spurs have narrowly missed out on winning the Premier League title during the past two seasons, losing out to Leicester City and Chelsea respectively.
Conte however belies that the North London club’s chairman Daniel Levy’s recent comments criticizing the big spending of fellow Premier League high flyers illustrated that the club has lower expectations going into the new season.
Whilst talking about the comments Levy made criticizing the huge spending of Premier League high flyers, Conte said, “My question is this: What are Tottenham’s expectations? If they don’t win the title, it’s not a tragedy. If they don’t arrive in the Champions League, it’s not a tragedy.”
Chelsea have so far been very active in the transfer market, spending heavily to recruit the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Alvaro Morata and Tiemoue Bakayoko and they could be set to make up to four more signings.
