Christian Benteke is said to be happy at Crystal Palace despite rumors suggesting that Everton could swoop for him.
The Toffees parted ways with their star striker Romelu Lukaku this summer and Benteke has now been linked with a move to the Merseyside club as Ronald Koeman looks to add further reinforcements to his side.
Benteke played a key role in helping the Eagles in the Premier League last season following his £27million arrival from Liverpool and the club’s new boss Frank De Boer also reportedly wants to keep the 26-year-old ahead of the new season. The Belgian international notched 15 goals from 36 appearances last season.
He now seemingly ruled out a move away from the club this summer by saying, “I’m very happy. I want to be part of the project of the manager and I’m looking forward for this new season.
“I want to perform and to score more goals and to really help the team to reach where they want to be.”
