Aston Villa’s new signing John Terry had admitted that he wishes to one day return to Chelsea as manager of the club.
Terry left the Blues at the end of last season following a hugely successful 22 year spell with the club. He has since signed a one year contract with Villa to extend his playing career.
During his time at Chelsea, the 36-year-old Terry made more than 700 appearances for the club and won 15 major honors. In his prime, he was widely regarded as being one of the best defenders in World football.
The veteran defender and former England captain has since admitted that he wishes to rejoin his former club and said, “Do you dream too big? I don’t think you can ever dream too big.
“I’ve always wanted to be the very best and if that’s in management, then Chelsea’s the one. That would be incredible but I realise as well you can’t go in somewhere like Chelsea as your first job.”
