According to reports, Chelsea legend John Terry will decide on his future this week amid interest from Aston Villa.
The 36-year-old has reportedly been offered a one year contract by the Villains while Bournemouth, Swansea City, Stoke City as well as West Bromwich Albion are also interested in signing him.
Terry returned from Portugal this week, where he attended the wedding of his brother and will have to make a decision on whether he will retire from the game or continue playing after ending his tenure of more than two decades with Chelsea.
The veteran indicated that retirement is on the cards during Chelsea’s end of season awards ceremony, when he said that he finds it difficult to imagine playing for another club.
Terry still has experience and leadership to offer another club. However from a neutral point of view, he has achieved a lot as a player and it may be best to call it a day.
