Tottenham reportedly identify 23-year-old as replacement for Walker; £20million asking price

According to reports from the Mirror, Tottenham could go for Porto’s right-back as a replacement for the departing Kyle Walker, who is set to join Manchester City.

Portuguese defender is a highly versatile player, and he can play as a winger as well. Also, he is relatively young, and at 23 years of age – Pereira could present a long-term option for the Spurs.

Kyle Walker is, according to multiple sources, in serious talks with Pep Guardiola and his move to the Etihad could open the doors for the young Portuguese.

During the last two seasons, Pereira spent on loan in France, playing for Nice. His performances helped the team secure a place in the Champions League, and he also put in some impressive displays in the national team as well.

Tottenham are in search for a reliable right-back, and they should be able to pay £20 million, which seems to be the asking price for Ricardo Pereira.
