Chelsea attacker admits he is open to leaving Stamford Bridge

West Ham target Michy Batshuayi has revealed that he is open to leaving Chelsea on loan in search of more first team football. Batshuayi endured a frustrating first season at Stamford Bridge after having failed to establish himself within the first team.

However the Belgian international did score four goals during the final three games of the season and ended with a decent stat of averaging a goal every 47 minutes.

The 23-year-old Batshuayi, who West Ham tried to recruit on a full time basis before he joined Chelsea, is reportedly a loan target of the Hammers this summer.

When asked about his future, Batshuayi said, “Honestly, I’m not trying to think too much [about my future]. It will be up to the board and the coach to decide. I’m the player, I go where Chelsea send me.”

West Ham will be a good club to send Batshayi to as it will allow Chelsea to analyze whether the Belgian international has what it takes to succeed for a big team like them.
