Sky Sports have reported that Tottenham ace Harry Kane will return to action in four to six weeks.
The North London club had confirmed early this week that the England international suffered damaged ankle ligaments during his club’s thrashing of Millwall in the FA Cup last weekend.
In what will be good news for Spurs fans, the report added that the club do not believe that the injury suffered by the 23-year-old is as serious as the one he suffered earlier in the season which, kept him out for eight weeks – resulting in him missing eight games.
Nonetheless, the loss of Kane will certainly be a loss to Spurs who hope to cement their place in the Champions League next season.
That said, it presents an opportunity to Vincent Janssen to prove himself. The Dutch international has been struggling for goals since arriving at White Hart Lane during the summer and Spurs fans will now be able to see whether he is up to the task.
