Report: Tottenham ready to raid Championship club for wonderkid

After beating London counterparts Fulham 3-0 in their FA Cup tie on Sunday, Tottenham are hoping to inflict further damage on their rivals by signing starlet Ryan Sessegnon.

Pochettino has been an admirer of Sessegnon, who played against Tottenham on Sunday coming on a second half substitute at Craven Cottage.

Reports of Spurs being linked with Sessegnon have now resurfaced, with the Daily Mail reporting that he has been placed near the top of the North London club’s transfer list.

Purchasing Sessegnon will not be easy nor cheap for Tottenham, however it would certainly be a good move. Danny Rose has established himself as the first choice left back while Ben Davies has failed to provide competition by disappointing when given the opportunity.

Sessegnon would not make the first team for League matches; however he would be good for playing in Cup matches as well as possibly providing increased competition for Rose.
