Report: Tottenham star rejected a whopping £38million transfer

According to reports, Danny Rose turned down a massive offer to play in China. The Sun have reported that Shanghai SIPG who are the same club that lured Oscar from Chelsea made a salary offer of £285,000 a week after tax to the defender.

In addition to this, they were also reportedly willing to offer Tottenham man £38 million fee for the player. Rose though was not interested in taking up the offers as he wishes to assist his club in challenging for trophies.

Over recent years, Rose has established himself as one of the best defenders in the English Premier League which surely attracted interested in him from the Chinese club,

According to the Daily Star, Rose said, “I have a relationship with my manager where I can go to speak to him, and I have been to him about those reports. We spoke about a lot of things. I am not playing football just for the fun of it. I want to win things.”
