According to reports from the Sun, Tottenham Hotspur may submit a bid for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha before the transfer deadline on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old is said to have been one of Tottenham’s top transfer targets during the summer and according to BBC Sport Reporting, they submitted a £15 million offer for the player which was rejected by Palace.
Zaha was not on the best off form last season which caused many to question why exactly Pochettino was interested in the player, however his performances have shown a marked improvement this season as he has notched four goals and six assists.
Given that Crystal Palace are fighting against relegation this term, it is unlikely that they will sell until the summer. However whether or not they are relegated, a deal is very possible.
Zaha will certainly be tempted to play for a team that is challenging for trophies and Tottenham will likely offer a healthy sum to Palace.
