Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for struggling midfielder Tom Carroll, Sky Sports reports. The 24-year-old has had limited opportunities in Mauricio Pochettino’s side, making just one appearance in the league this season.
The English midfielder is a product of the Spurs academy and was originally touted for a first team spot, but his prospects have seemingly diminished, with him making just 56 appearances since his debut in 2011.
Following Everton’s purchase of Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, Tottenham are also reportedly interested in acquiring the services of England international Ross Barkley, according to the Mirror.
The highly rated 23-year-old has underperformed this season, scoring just four goals in 21 appearances. Barkley’s performances this season have already seen him being publicly reprimanded by new coach Ronald Koeman. Spurs will be confident in their chances of snagging the star for a decent price, as his contract runs out in 18 months.
