Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has emerged as one of the best young talents in Premier League in last two seasons. The 20-year-old was one of the standout players for Spurs last season and has continued in the same vein this season.
He is currently on a fine scoring form and has scored three consecutive braces during the festive period. His remarkable form in front of the goal has quite understandably lead to various transfer rumours linking him with a move from the North London club.
According to a report from the Mirror, earlier this week, it claimed that La Liga giants Real Madrid are plotting a massive summer offer for the England international.
However, Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has dismissed the above report and has claimed that Los Blancos have no interest in the youngster.
The Spanish journalist also added that all the major clubs are closely monitoring Alli, but he is quite happy with his life under Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.
“What a potential Dele Alli has!” he told Sky Sports. “He is watched by everybody of course, but Real Madrid, at this point in time, have got no intention to go for him.”
“Let’s see how he develops in the next few years, but Pochettino has created such an atmosphere at the club that nobody wants to leave.”
