AC Milan are interested in signing Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, according to the Daily Mirror.
The report suggests the Italian side could look to exploit Batshuayi’s current situation at Chelsea by making a move for the Belgium international.
Batshuayi, who joined Chelsea from Marseille for a reported £33m fee last summer, is yet to start a league game for the Blues since his move and has only played 133 minutes in all competitions for the club so far.
The 23-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge as one of the most promising strikers in European football and is reportedly unhappy with his lack of playing time.
He was linked with a January return to Marseille a couple of weeks ago and it seems like the rumours of his potential departure refuse to go away.
Even though Diego Costa has been in great form since the start of the season, it’s hard to imagine Chelsea letting Batshuayi go so soon.
He hasn’t played much so far, but that’s mostly down to Chelsea not playing in Europe this season.
Batshuayi will have to be patient and wait for his chance, which will surely come soon enough.
