Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is keen to join Juventus this winter, according to local Turin newspaper Tuttosport.
The report claims Juventus failed with a move for Matic last summer, but will try again in January.
Chelsea are believed to be open to the sale of Matic if they receive an offer of between €20 and €25m.
The Italian champions are also reportedly targeting Blaise Matuidi and Axel Witsel, but manager Massimiliano Allegri is thought to prefer Matic.
The 28-year-old Serbia international is currently a regular in Chelsea’s starting eleven under Antonio Conte, but it seems like he’s not indispensable at Stamford Bridge and could soon find himself in Turin.
If Chelsea decide to let Matic go in the January transfer window, they’d have to sign a replacement as Cesc Fabregas doesn’t seem to be in Conte’s good books and has been a peripheral figure since the start of the season.
Chelsea were heavily linked with a move for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan last summer, but the transfer didn’t materialize. The Belgium international is even expected to renew his contract with the Italian side in the next few weeks.
January is not the perfect time to make crucial changes to your squad, but it seems like Chelsea will be one of the more active clubs.
