Chelsea have not made the most convincing starts to their campaign and they managed to only scrape past Bristol Rovers 3-2 in their midweek EFL Cup clash on Tuesday night.

Nonetheless, Chelsea boast a fine 100% record under Antonio Conte at the moment and one can certainly notice a lot of positives for the Blues so far.

Now Chelsea prepare to square off against Burnley in the Premier League this weekend and on the basis of the Clarets’ fine performance against Liverpool last week, Conte’s men will surely need to put in a good performance in order to claim the three points from the encounter.

Here is the strongest possible Chelsea lineup for the clash against West Ham United –

Goalkeeper

Thibaut Courtois was handed a rest in the midweek encounter against Bristol Rovers in favour of second choice Asmir Begovic and one should fully expect the Belgian international to make a return back to the lineup on Saturday.

Defence

Young Ola Aina was handed his first ever start for Chelsea against Bristol, with John Terry being handed a breather and one should expect the 35-year-old to make a return to the starting lineup alongside Gary Cahill at the heart of the backline this weekend.

The return of Terry means that Branislav Ivanovic will be moving into the right-back position while Cesar Azpilicueta continues on the left side of defence.

Midfield

The likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Victor Moses started in midweek and it is now widely expected that the duo will drop out of the starting lineup in order to facilitate the return of Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante.

Even Oscar was provided a rest by Conte but with Fabregas performing extremely well, there is a possibility that the Spaniard could start ahead of the young Brazilian against Burnley.

Nemanja Matic featured for the entire 90 minutes in the EFL Cup but he should be fit enough to start the encounter this weekend as well.

Attack

Michy Batshuayi managed to impress on his first ever start for Chelsea by grabbing a double in the 3-2 triumph over Bristol but despite his fine exploits, it is expected that the Belgian international will be dropping down to the bench in favour of star striker Diego Costa on Saturday.
