Recent reports from Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that Chelsea is tracking Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly in order to fix their defense next season. The 24-year-old Senegal international would cost Chelsea €25 million.

The defender has been very impressive this season with Napoli and has caught the eyes of many. He has played 33 games in the Serie A for Napoli this season and has been awarded MOTM in 3 appearances. He is a brilliant passer of the ball and averages 85.9% passing accuracy. His physicality gives him an edge over other players and he is not afraid to dive into the tackles.

For Chelsea, Kalidou will be a decent signing. Despite club legend John Terry penning down a contract extension with the Blues, Conte will be keen on having a replacement for Terry.

Kalidou is likely to pen down a deal with Stamford Bridge outfit as it will in-turn triple his wages. Presently, he earned just €800,000 at Napoli for the season, but this number is expected to grow 3 times once a move to Stamford Bridge takes place.
