Antonio Conte wants to reunite with Southampton striker Graziano Pelle at Chelsea next season, according to reports from the Sun
Antonio Conte is sure to make a raft of changes at Chelsea upon his arrival to Stamford Bridge in the summer and bringing in a new striker will surely be high on the agenda for the 46-year old.
The likes of Loic Remy, Radamel Falcao and Alexandre Pato are all set to be leaving Chelsea at the end of the current campaign and as a result, Conte needs to reinforce the attack in order to provide support to star man Diego Costa.
Pelle wanted by Chelsea
A host of names have unsurprisingly been linked with a move to Chelsea over the past few weeks and now in fresh links, it can be revealed that the Blues are currently considering a swoop for Southampton star Graziano Pelle.
Pelle’s contract at Southampton is set to expire at the end of next season and with talks of a renewal not on the table as of yet, it is widely believed that the striker will leave the St. Mary’s Stadium over the summer.

A move back to Italy had been seen as a possibility for Pelle but the Sun claim that Conte is keen on bringing the 30-year old to Stamford Bridge as a cover for Costa.
Conte has enjoyed a successful relationship with Pelle during their time together with the Italian national team so far and one suspects that the transfer coming into fruition is a possibility.
