Hoping to end this season on a high, Chelsea will host Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Although Manchester City will be coming into this game with one eye on their 1st ever Champions League Semi-final.
The Blues lost their winning streak in the Premier League under Guus Hiddink last weekend. While that defeat wasn’t the low point of their season, it once again epitomized the level of work new Manager Antonio Conte will have to do to put The Blues back on track in the league.
Coming into this game, the odds are stacked against the home side. They have won just 1 of their last 6 home games in the league. Thus, while they will be buoyed by the return of Diego Costa, Manchester City are coming into this game as favorites.
Chelsea have a couple of significant injuries to deal with in the buildup to this fixture. While Hazard might miss the remaining stages of this season, John Terry might have played his last game in Chelsea colors. The Blue Legend has undergone a treatment on the Achilles injury and won’t be able to make any sort of impact in this fixture.
