Chelsea: Antonio Conte’s Incredible list of Stats

After months of speculation, Chelsea FC officially announced Antonio Conte as the head coach for the 2016-2017 season. The 46-year-old Italian boss is expected to take over right after the EURO 2016. The move has been imminent, since Italian Football Federation’s president Carlo Tavecchio announced last month that Conte will step down as Italy coach after the EURO 2016, when his contract expires.

Much will be expected  from the 10th Chelsea manager under the Roman Abramovich era (Mourinho and Hiddink with 2 stints each at the club). First being a title challenge for the next season and a return to Champions League. Chelsea will be looking forward to regaining their lost glory under the Italian boss.

Conte has the highest win ratio in the Serie A (72.4%) with Juventus. He won 83 matches out of 114 at Juve, losing only 7. In addition to this, Italy qualified for the EURO 2016 without losing a single game under Conte. Conte provides tactical flexibility to the team and is known to bank upon young and rising talents. Chelsea has lacked the flexibility which Conte can provide very effectively with efficiency and desired results.
