27-year-old AS Roma midfielder Radja Naingollan is being followed by Chelsea. Chelsea faces a £35million price-tag if they are willing to land the Belgian midfielder, as reported by Daily Mail, who is yet to see out his contract with AS Roma until 2020.
The right-footed midfielder has a wide range of skills that would benefit Chelsea in many ways. From finishing to his defensive contributions, Naingollan hasn’t failed to impress. The Belgian is very good at holding the ball and providing layoffs.
His style of playing long balls with an average accuracy of 84.5%, would benefit the Chelsea side with Diego Costa up front. All over, Naingollan is a matured all-rounder of the game and his strong character will provide strength to Chelsea’s midfield.
Conte will be keen to add more energy and discipline in Chelsea’s side. Nemanja Matic is most likely to leave this summer, whereas question marks remain over John Obi Mikel’s future too, making it easier for Naingollan to run his boots for Chelsea. The dynamic midfielder will most certainly join Chelsea in their bid to regain the lost glory.
