Tottenham put on a stellar performance Sunday beating Bournemouth 3-0 at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham are still in second place behind league leaders Leicester City by two points.
Several players were fantastic against Bournemouth but Harry Kane shined above the rest. The Tottenham striker was in on all the goals, scoring two and assisting on the other.
Kane opened up the scoring within the first minute when he tapped in a beautiful cross from Kyle Walker to put Spurs ahead early.
Kane added to his goal tally 16 minutes later after Kevin Wimmer played a beautiful long ball up to Dele Alli. Alli then played Kane through and the striker put it past Bournemouth keeper Artur Boruc.
Christian Eriksen scored the other goal in the 51st minute after Boruc couldn’t handle a Harry Kane shot from distance. Eriksen ran in for the rebound and slotted it home. The Dane will not score an easier goal.
Besides having a huge impact on the offence, Kane’s defensive work rate was fantastic as well. He was all over the pitch today.
Kane’s two goals today now gives him 21 goals in the Premier League and is now the out right top scorer in the Premier League.
Tottenham will now have a couple weeks off and will resume action on April 2 against Liverpool.
