Chelsea has been unbeatable in all of their last 10 games (9 games with Guus Hiddink and 1 game with Steve Holland) against Watford, Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Scunthorpe, West Bromwich Albion, Everton, MK Dons, and Watford again. Chelsea kept its unbeaten record with the blues drawing against Watford in a goalless match.

Although Chelsea hasn’t still got back to their ideal form, they have recovered from what was a disastrous start to the season. Now we have to wait and see if Chelsea could keep up their unbeaten run against an inconsistent and unpredictable Manchester United.

Goalkeeper

Although Thibaut Courtois had some trouble when distributing the ball in Chelsea’s game against Watford, he is still the best choice as he is a brilliant goalkeeper and should definitely start against the Red Devils. His performance in this game would be very interesting, as he will be going head to head with Manchester United’s brilliant goalkeeper, David De Gea.

Defense

John Terry and Kurt Zouma should once again start for the Blues and continue their amazing partnership in Chelsea’s Central Defense. They have an amazing chemistry together and are one of the main reasons that Chelsea have been unbeaten in their last 10 games. John Terry and Zouma both also performed very well against Watford to completely ensure themselves a spot in the game against Manchester United.

Ivanović had a decent game for Chelsea in the Right Back position. Although he struggled defensively at some points of the game, he was decent in the end and performed well against Watford to show that he should start against Manchester United. Azpilicueta also had a great game in the Left Back position and was a great support for John Terry. He performed well and guaranteed himself a spot against Louis Van Gaal’s Red Army.

Midfield

Jon Obi Mikel and Cesc Fabregas both performed well and had a great game in Chelsea’s midfield. Mikel was great defensively in Chelsea’s midfield and also helped the Blues keep possession of the ball against the Hornets, while Fabregas was once again Chelsea’s architect in the midfield, creating perfect attacking opportunities for his offensive teammates. Matić was also decent in Chelsea’s midfield, however, he shouldn’t start as Chelsea’s Central Midfielder as he failed once again to get back to his ideal form.

Hazard should start as Chelsea’s Left Attacking Midfielder against Manchester United, as he shone against Watford. Willian should also start as Chelsea’s Right Attacking Midfielder against Manchester United as he is easily Chelsea’s best player in the ongoing season.

Oscar was one of the Blues’ best player in Chelsea’s match against Watford, with the Attacking Midfielder linking up extremely well with Diego Costa. He performed terrifically and should definitely start against Manchester United.

Striker

Diego Costa was also one of the Blues’ best players in Chelsea’s match against Watford, with the striker coming close to score a late winner but being denied by “Man of the Match” Gomes. He should definitely start for the Blues against the Red Devils as he is completely back on ideal form and could definitely help Chelsea.
