Where to Watch Chivas de Guadalajara
The simplest answer for Chivas Guadalajara fans in the United States: home matches fall under Telemundo’s exclusive U.S. package, with games on Telemundo and streaming on Peacock. Telemundo holds the exclusive U.S. Spanish and English language rights to Chivas Guadalajara home matches and key friendlies across Telemundo, Universo, Peacock, and Telemundo digital platforms, under a multi-year agreement with the club.
For streaming, Peacock on Prime Video is the most direct path for Chivas Guadalajara home games: Peacock carries the Telemundo broadcast live, and the subscription is also available as a Prime Video add-on. Fubo also carries Telemundo (base plan; Universo availability depends on plan), making it a solid live TV streaming alternative for home matches.
Away matches are a different story. U.S. Liga MX broadcast rights are sold club by club and follow the home team, so a Chivas Guadalajara road game airs on whatever network holds the home club’s rights. When Chivas Guadalajara visit a TelevisaUnivision club such as Club America, the match airs on Univision, Unimas and TUDN, and may stream on ViX (ViX also available via Prime Video) where confirmed for that fixture. Always check the listing for the specific fixture.
How to Watch Chivas de Guadalajara for Free
The only reliably free way to watch Chivas Guadalajara in the US is over the air: Telemundo is a free broadcast network, so home matches on Telemundo can be picked up with a TV antenna (like this one on Amazon) in most markets. Universo, by contrast, is a cable-only channel and requires a pay TV package or a live TV streaming service such as Fubo.
Peacock is a paid subscription with no free tier, so there is no free streaming path for the Peacock-exclusive stream. For the full rundown of free Liga MX viewing options, see our free Liga MX streaming guide.

Where to Watch Chivas de Guadalajara in Liga MX
In Liga MX, Chivas Guadalajara’s U.S. viewing splits cleanly between home and away. Home matches at Estadio Akron fall under the club’s exclusive multi-year U.S. agreement with Telemundo, with assignments across Telemundo, Universo and Peacock varying by fixture.
Away matches follow the home club’s deal. When Chivas Guadalajara visited Club America on September 19, the Clásico Nacional aired in the U.S. on Univision and TUDN with streaming on ViX, because Club America is a TelevisaUnivision club. A trip to a FOX Sports club would land on FOX Deportes instead. The channel is never determined by Chivas Guadalajara’s own package on the road, so confirm each away listing individually. See our Liga MX streaming and TV guide to understand where to watch every Liga MX match.
Where to Watch Chivas de Guadalajara in Other Competitions
Tournaments outside Liga MX carry separate U.S. rights, so even a home game in a competition other than the Liga MX is not necessarily guaranteed to be on Telemundo. See per competition streaming and TV details below.
Leagues Cup
Chivas Guadalajara were eliminated in the 2026 Leagues Cup Phase One, finishing eighth among the Liga MX sides with four points and missing the knockout cut. In 2026, all 62 Leagues Cup matches streamed on Apple TV, with select matches also on FOX Sports and TelevisaUnivision networks. Coverage arrangements can change from year to year.
Concacaf Champions Cup
Chivas Guadalajara did not participate in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup, which ran from February to May 2026, but the club has already qualified for the 2027 tournament through its 2025-26 Liga MX aggregate position. In 2026, English-language coverage aired on FOX Sports (FS1/FS2) and Spanish-language coverage on TUDN and ViX. Beginning in 2027, Paramount+ becomes the exclusive U.S. English-language home of the Concacaf Champions Cup through 2030.
Best Streaming Options for Chivas de Guadalajara Fans
Peacock
Peacock is the primary streaming home for Chivas Guadalajara home matches, carrying the Telemundo broadcast live. A Peacock subscription is required; it is not included with Amazon Prime, but it is available as a Prime Video add-on (see the viewing tables above).
Fubo
Fubo carries both Telemundo (base plan; Universo availability depends on plan), making it the most complete live TV streaming option for Chivas Guadalajara home games. It does not carry Univision, UniMás or TUDN, so it is less useful for away matches at TelevisaUnivision clubs. Watch on Fubo
ViX and ViX Premium
ViX does not have Chivas Guadalajara home matches. The club’s official U.S. match postings list Peacock as the streaming option for home games, and no TelevisaUnivision source has confirmed any Chivas Guadalajara home fixture on ViX. ViX becomes relevant only for Chivas Guadalajara away matches at TelevisaUnivision clubs, where the home club’s package applies, which covers many Liga MX teams. You can watch ViX via Prime Video.
FOX One
Although Fox Deportes has a deal with Chivas, FOX One is not the primary streaming option for Chivas home matches. FOX Deportes only has delayed U.S. TV broadcast for Chivas home fixtures, while Peacock carried the live stream. FOX Deportes can still become relevant for Chivas away matches when the opposing home club’s U.S. package includes FOX Deportes.
Apple TV
Apple TV streamed every match of the 2026 Leagues Cup, the tournament Chivas Guadalajara exited in August. With the club eliminated and no other current Apple TV competition involving Chivas Guadalajara, it is not a current viewing option for the club.
Why Chivas de Guadalajara Games Can Be on Different Channels
U.S. rights to Liga MX are sold club by club, not league-wide, and they follow the home team. Telemundo’s exclusive deal covers Chivas Guadalajara when they host at Estadio Akron. The moment Chivas Guadalajara go on the road, the opponent’s broadcaster takes over: Univision and TUDN at TelevisaUnivision clubs, FOX Deportes at FOX Sports clubs, Telemundo and Universo at fellow Telemundo clubs. Cup competitions are sold separately on top of that. The practical rule: home games are Telemundo games, everything else depends on the fixture, so check each match listing before kickoff. For the full league-wide TV and streaming schedule, see our Liga MX viewing guide.
