Chivas de Guadalajara will host Cruz Azul at the Estadio Akron this Saturday, February 15, 2020 (7:00 p.m. Pacific) for a match from Week 6 of the Liga MX 2020 Clausura season.

Chivas de Guadalajara has had a very disappointing season so far and will look to bounce back in this match. Los Rojiblancos are coming off a 3-0 loss to Tigres UANL away from home and manager Luis Fernando Tena is expected to make some changes to his lineup.

Multimedios reporter Jesus Hernandez released the probable lineup for Chivas and it is as follows: Antonio Rodriguez, Isaac Brzuela, Hiram Mier, Gilberto Sepulveda, Cristian Calderon, Jesus Molina, Fernando Beltran, Uriel Antuna, Jesus Angulo, Alexis Vega, Ronaldo Cisneros.

There are some major surprises in the starting 11 as Jose Juan Macias and Eduardo “Chofis” Lopez are sitting out. Isaac Brizuela slots in at right-back and Cristian Calderon starts his first game of the season along with Ronaldo Cisneros and Jesus Angulo.

The attack is enticing, but it seems like a risky move to sit out both Jose Juan Macias and “Chofis”. Alexis Vega will carry a bigger responsibility in the attack with players who have not received much playing time like Jesus Angulo and Ronaldo Cisneros in the mix.

The lineup is very offensive and aggressive with Cristian Calderon and Isaac Brizuela as the fullbacks as this may not be the right call with Chivas’ severe defensive problems.
