The Puebla vs Chivas de Guadalajara Liga MX match will be broadcast live online and on TV as Los Camoteros host Los Rojinegros at the Estadio Cuauhtemoc this Friday, August 2, at 5:00 PM Pacific.

Puebla started off the Liga MX 2019 Apertura tournament with a disappointing 3-1 loss to Club Tijuana at home. La Franja had a bye week in Matchday 2 of the competition and is now back at home to try and get its first three points of the campaign.

Puebla did stay active in the bye week as Los Camoteros hosted Spanish team Real Betis at the Estadio Cuauhtemoc and enjoyed a 2-0 victory. Most of the key starters played for Puebla like Lucas Cavallini and Brayan Angulo played in that game, but manager Jose Luis Sanchez Sola is expected to make some changes after the Week 1 loss.

Chivas de Guadalajara suffered a massive 3-0 loss to Santos Laguna in Week 1, but are coming off a very impressive 2-0 win against Tigres UANL. Antonio Briseno started his first league game for Tomas Boy and scored against Tigres as Alan Pulido also scored from the penalty spot.

Los Rojiblancos have a decent team defensively with players like “Pollo” Briseno, Oswaldo Alanis and Josecarlos Van Rankin. However, Alan Pulido cannot lead this offense and other players like Oribe Peralta and “Chofis” Lopez can be very inconsistent.

Puebla vs Chivas Prediction

FutnSoccer predicts a 1-0 win for Puebla against Chivas as La Franja has a more well-balanced team and will also have the home-field advantage.
