The Chile vs Sweden 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup match will be broadcast live online and on TV as La Roja play the Blue-Yellow at Roazhon Park this Tuesday, June 11, at 11:45 AM Pacific.
This will be the first game of Group F of the World Cup as the United States and Sweden battle for dominance of the group. Chile does not have the best squad in the competition, but still has plenty of intriguing players like Karen Araya of Sevilla.
Nine players on Chile’s squad play in Spain and a few others play in Europe like PSG goalkeeeper Christiane Endler. Valencia’s Yanara Aedo will be one of the main players for La Roja going forward, but it will also be interesting to see how the domestic players do as well.
Sweden is ranked as the ninth best women’s national team heading into the competition and will battle for the leadership of Group F with the USA. Most of the Nordic team’s roster does play domestically, but in a very competitive league with players like team captain Caroline Seger and star striker Stina Blackstenius.
There are some players that play abroad like Hanna Glas of PSG, Fridolina Rolfo of Bayern Munich and Jonna Andersson and Magdalena Eriksson, who both play for Chelsea.
