Sweden has won its last two international games, coming off a 2-0 win against Russia in the UEFA Nations League. The Blue-yellow does have an aging squad as Andreas Granqvist, Mikael Lustig, Sebastian Larsson, Gustav Svensson and Marcus Berg are all 32 years old or older.
However, the team also has some young players like 19-year-old forward Alexander Isak and also players reaching their primes like 27-year-old midfielder Emil Forsberg of Red Bull Leipzig. The Blue-Yellow are one of the favorites to make it out of Group F, but also have competition with Spain and Norway.
Romania is in tremendous form, undefeated in its last six games in all competitions, coming off a 1-0 away win against Montenegro in the UEFA Nations League. Tricolorii has a weaker squad than Sweden, but still has some decent players like experienced goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon of Nottingham Forest.
Perhaps the most intriguing player on Romania is 22-year-old Palermo striker George Puscas, who has scored eight goals in the Serie B this season. Cosmin Contra’s team has not allowed any goals in its last three games in the UEFA Nations League and can be a very tough team to break down.
