Liga MX: Chelis gets trashed by former team on Twitter as he rejoins Puebla

Jose Luis Sanchez Sola is back in the Liga MX and back with Puebla for the fourth time as La Franja parted ways with Enrique Meza and rejoined forces with “El Chelis”. Sanchez Sola had been working as a pundit for ESPN in Mexico recently and his most recent managing gig came last year with Las Vegas Lights FC of the United Soccer League.

The Mexican manager did not have a good time in Sin City as he accumulated just 27 points in 28 games, leaving the club in 15th place out of 17 teams in Group B of the USL. His eccentric behavior and antics, that the team enforced to be fair, outshined the product on the pitch.

“Chelis” did not fulfill the teams needs at Las Vegas Lights FC, but the team’s response to him joining Puebla was completely uncalled for. Las Vegas Lights FC tweeted out an article regarding the news that Sanchez Sola was rejoining Puebla and said “Fourth time?… it only took us once to learn.”

The tweet was a direct stab at Sanchez Sola and completely uncalled for, showcasing a lack of professionalism by the club.
