Queretaro is winless in its last two Liga MX games, but is coming off a 1-1 draw away from home against Chivas de Guadalajara in Week 10 of the competition. Los Gallos Blancos also advanced to the quarterfinals of the Copa MX by defeating Dorados de Sinaloa earlier in the week by a score of 2-1.
Rafael Puente Jr.’s team has a lot of talent with players like Camilo Sanvezzo, Daniel Villalva and Tiago Volpi and should stay competitive as the tournament progresses. Queretaro is currently in eighth place and will look to stay in a playoff position after Week 11 of the 2018 Apertura.
Tigres UANL is also winless in its last two league games and has been pretty underwhelming so far, currently in seventh place with 15 points. Los Felinos are coming off a huge 4-0 win against Puebla in the Copa MX and will try and ride on that momentum to get a favorable result in this match.
Ricardo Ferretti counts with one of the most talented teams in the league and star player Andre-Pierre Gignac has been having a solid season with six goals scored. Tigres UANL will not count with team captain Juninho for this clash as he received a red card against Monterrey in Week 10, but his absence should not be much of a burden.
