According to reports, West Ham are in talks to sign former Manchester United star Patrice Evra, who is currently a free-agent.
The 36-year-old is currently a free-agent after Marseille terminated his contract after he kicked a supporter during a Europa League game in November.
Following the incident, UEFA banned the Frenchman from European competitions till the end of June and fined him nearly £90,000.
Hammers boss David Moyes previously worked with Evra at United for one season and is keen to bring the veteran to the London Stadium to bolster his options at the back.
During his time with United, Evra went on to play more than 300 times for the club and won the Premier League five times before leaving the club at the end of the 2013/14 season to join Juventus.
Evra may be past his peak, but he could give Moyes another option at the back and also help to motivate players within the squad.
