Real Madrid man reportedly requests transfer to Liverpool

The Daily Star have reported important news regarding the plans of Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who has been closely monitored by Liverpool during the January transfer session.

It appears that the Costa Rica international has already informed Florentino Perez about his intention to join the Reds next summer since Los Blancos are in advanced talks with Manchester United’s David De Gea.

The 31-year-old star has allegedly requested permission from Real’s chairman to leave Santiago Bernabeu, which could will be music to Jurgen Klopp’s ears.

The Reds boss has lost confidence in his keepers, Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius, as both have proven quite unreliable. Hence, he is keen on bringing a proven shot-stopper that can provide stability to the rest of the team.

Navas is maybe one of the most underrated goalkeepers in the world, but Klopp is well aware of his quality, and that’s why he tried to complete the deal this winter.
