Mourinho sets his sights on signing this Everton player

According to reports, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will set his sights on signing Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford should David De Gea leave Old Trafford.

As a result of their poor performances this season, Real are likely to undergo a major squad revolution during the summer and are looking to sign a new keeper.

Thibaut Courtois and De Gea are two of the names that the Spanish giants have been linked with.

Should Los Blancos manage to sign De Gea during the summer, Mourinho will sanction an approach for Pickford, according to the Sun.

The 23-year-old Pickford joined the Toffees from Sunderland during the summer and has since managed to establish himself as one of the top keepers in England.

As a result of his impressive performances this season, the England international is likely to cost in the region of £50 million.

Mourinho is said to be impressed by Pickford and will not be put-off by the high price which he is likely to cost.
